EPISODE 151:
HAUNTED WORLD OF MICHELLE BELANGER
For a Halloween treat, authors T. Fox Dunham & Phil Thomas chat with paranormal investigator and psychic, Michelle Belanger. Most widely recognized for her work as a psychic on A&E's Paranormal State and Osbourne Media's Portals to Hell, Michelle is an occult expert, educator, media personality, and author of over thirty books on paranormal and occult topics. Not only does Michelle share her unique insights on the nature of ghosts, inhuman spirits and the causes of hauntings, but she also tells Fox and Phil about some of her scariest experiences including the night a dark force tormented her while she slept when she spent the night at a hotel where a depraved serial killer used to work.
In addition to her stories of the paranormal, they discuss the pagan holiday of Samhain, and Fox even sings the Pumpky Night Song—an old English folk song sung this time of year.

EPSIODE 150:
VAMPIRE LORE WITH DACRE STOKER
Dacre Stoker, great grand-nephew of Dracula author Bram Stoker, joins authors T. Fox Dunham and Phil Thomas to talk about those creatures of the night, vampires. An author and scholar of all things vampyr, Stoker has written the only official prequel, Dracul with author J.D. Barker, based on years of research into the files and history of Bram Stoker. Dacre shares his insights into vampire lore and reveals interesting details about the book; for example, Bram Stoker had originally written a different and explosive ending to the book that would have changed how we viewed his celebrated story.
British folksinger David Walton narrates an excerpt from Stoker’s prequel, and the hosts are proud to offer a new story from premier horror author, Deborah Drake. The Vampire’s First Rule, narrated by T. Fox Dunham & Cindy Hermann, tells the story of an ancient conflict between two vampires that finally ends in the sacred cave of the Eternal Half-Lighters. Then to finish the show, Dacre shares a true ghost story about his encounter with a bishop’s ghost that haunts the cellars of Marsh’s Library in Dublin, Ireland.
We’re celebrating Halloween from home in 2020. To help you get into the Halloween spirit, we’ve brought you mediums, zombies, vampires and soon ghosts and demons.

EPISODE 149:
ZOMBIE LOVE FOR HALLOWEEN
We love zombies! Whether shambling, running, brain-eating or raging, authors T. Fox Dunham & Phil Thomas can’t get enough of the hungry dead, especially during the Halloween season. On episode 149, Fox & Phil chat with Daniel Kraus about writing his new book, The Living Dead. Daniel had the honor of co-writing the book with the late George Romero, who created the zombie franchise with his movie, Night of the Living Dead. He explains how he went to great lengths to write it in Romero’s style and maintain his original theme: Zombies are the sympathetic good guys, a rising underclass, and humans are the villains. David Walton narrates an excerpt from the book.
Also on this episode, Phil and Fox discuss zombie lore: the best movies, stories and the most effective method a zombie can use to hunt the living. Finishing the show, David also narrates a short story written by T. Fox Dunham called How my Battlecraft Guild Survived the Zombie Apocalypse. Fox got the idea while raiding on World of Warcraft, realizing that the teamwork required to defeat a raid boss would help any team survive a real invasion by the living dead.
We’re counting down to Halloween 2020, so come and get some zombie love!

EPISODE 148
SEANCES WITH LISA MORTON
Award-winning author Lisa Morton joins T. Fox Dunham & Phil Thomas to talk about her new book, Calling the Spirits: A History of Séances. Through human history, people have sought to communicate with departed souls, and the evolution of that process has taken many forms. Finally in the mid-nineteenth century, the idea of the Séance developed. Supported by fringe science and the need to speak to dead loved ones, mediums became all the rage, especially during the shock of post-war periods. But were these mediums channeling the dead or just putting on a good show? Lisa shares her insights and answers the question why do we need séances? And she tells Phil and Fox a true ghost story that happened to her while she was part of a paranormal investigation at the infamous Stanley Hotel, the setting of Stephen King’s book, The Shining. We’re counting down to Halloween 2020 with Lisa Morton.
